Why Crystal Peach?
Labyrinth's my all-time favourite movie, and while thinking about the
first site draft I started wondering and messing with some of the ball
images. I love the looks of the whole movie, but that scene just makes
me stop and replay it over and over, so I knew that the title had to
be something related to it. After much thinking I just mixed two ideas,
the Crystal Ball and the peach that sent Sarah to the ball. That's how
Crystal Peach came out.
That's why there are masks in all the layouts this site has had?
Exactly. I plan on keeping the masks in every upcoming layout this site
may have. Sort of an identity sign.
Where do you get the pics from?
Many sources. When it comes to Eliza Dushku, Angelina Jolie or the like,
I've spent months or years collecting pics I like, so I can't give you
a certain url because my galleries are made from a lot of them. Anyway,
I collected my favs at the links section.
How can I credit you in the keywords?
When you upload the icon to LJ there's a field saying keywords, and
another one 'Comments'. You can put whichever title you want to name
the icon, and write 'by <lj user="adharaphoenix">' or
something along these lines. You can credit me by adharaphoenix, adharita
or linking back to this url.
Do you take requests?
Yes, I do, but there are some things you should keep in mind when asking
me for icons/banners:
- I don't use Photoshop in a daily basis and have no real experience
with it. This means I haven't been given Photoshop lessons, and every
work here was made rather randomly. I prefer to clarify this, I'd hate
to disappoint you.
- Sometimes it takes me two hours to complete a request, sometimes it
takes me two weeks. I have to be in a very ready mood to mess with Photoshop.
And I'm quite lazy as well :)
- Moodthemes get on my nerves. I get headaches to complete
them and frustrate easily when they don't come out as I wanted. This
doesn't mean I'm no taking moodthemes requests, but they surely would
take longer than icons or banners. And they'll depend on whether I like
the subject or not. Understand that I'd have to spend some time looking
for over 120 moods and if I don't like the subject that would be near
to torture.
